Nonwoven Textile Colorants – Dyes & Pigments
Chromatech Incorporated offers a broad selection of nonwoven textile colorants in both liquid dyes and resinless water-based pigment dispersions.
Nonwoven textiles and nonwoven fabrics are engineered fabrics made by bonding fibers or filaments mechanically, thermally, or chemically. Typical resins include PVA latex, phenolic resin, and urea-formaldehyde resins. Nonwoven textile fibers include fiberglass, polyester-cotton blends and other fibers. They are typically flat, porous sheets that are not made by weaving or knitting (hence the term nonwoven). Nonwoven materials are used in the production of filter media, insulation, bedding, furniture, carpet components, vehicles, luggage, medical garments, apparel, blankets, absorbent pads, wipes, construction materials, landscaping, agriculture, and more.
